Annette Tison is the creator of the famous 'Barbapapa' series, the children's books that became popular during the 1970s. She studied architecture in Paris, where she met her husband Talus Taylor, a biology and math teacher from San Francisco, USA. Together, they came up with 'Barbapapa', which soon was made into a television series and provided a whole generation with fond memories of the colorful Barbapapa family.
