She is a hot spring spirit from Miyanoshita Hot Spring District. She and Hakone both consider themselves archrivals. She comes to Hakone Yumoto district to not only establish a large hotel, but to also take away Hakone's fame and power. Just like Hakone, she too was also one of the older hot spring spirits who has been asleep for a long time and has just awaken, but unlike the latter she still maintains some powers were she appears as a 16 year old girl. In her full potential she can appear as a twenty something woman. She later develops feelings for Touya, where she would follow him around just to be in his side.
