The female protagonist of the manga. Daughter of two excellent exorcists, she is rather famous herself and is held in high esteem. Her parents got killed by a very strong impurity 6 years prior to the events of the manga (her meeting Rokuro) and now, her main motivation is taking vengeance against that impurity for it. In chapter 13, she loses her both legs in an intense fight with Benio's older brother Yuuto, and meets Basara who offers her to give her impurities legs same as how it is for Rokuro for his hand. After some hesitation, in next chapter she gains impurities legs which are having beautiful structure which she uses to bring Yuuto down to his knees which later is defeated by Rokuro. In chapter 29, her "Guardian" was revealed as a Basara Impurity called Douma Houshi more commonly known as Ashiya Douman. But was soon exorcised by Sayo's enchanted guardian Kuzunoha and its retainers. Due to this Benio loses all her enchanted powers as an exorcist and becomes a normal human girl.
